This extensive safari combines our Taste of Kenya and Taste of Tanzania itineraries. .Get a dose of wildlife action on exhilarating game drives; learn about local customs and traditions on community visits; spot prolific birdlife on lakes and in rivers; and spend each night relaxing over a tasty meal in comfort accommodation.

Day 1: Arrival and transfer to Eka hotel.

Welcome to Kenya. Your preferred destination for photographic safaris! Upon touchdown at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will receive a warm welcome by our driver/guide who will transport you to Eka hotel to relax and recharge during your stay in Kenya’s capital

Day 2: Drive to Lake Nakuru national park for lunch.

Leave Nairobi in the morning and proceed to Lake Nakuru, a rift valley lake that hosts one of the best spectacles in the world as a sanctuary for the flamingoes. It is also one of the few places to see both white and black rhinos at close range. We shall arrive in time for lunch and later have an afternoon game drive .The parks host several species of wildlife, and if fortunate, you shall see some of the remarkable species that inhabit the park like the white rhinos, baboons, hippopotamus, lions, and leopards. Many reptiles, like the python, will be seen moving around the cliffs. At sunset, you shall transfer to your lodge

Day 3: Masai Mara

The next destination is one of the most visited parks in Africa, Maasai Mara. You’ll arrive at the lodge in time for Lunch. In the afternoon, you’ll head out for a game drive. As the sun sets, many animals, and especially cats, will emerge from the shades and become active. Mara sunsets are breathtaking and a sight to behold!

Day 4: Full day game drive in Masai Mara.

After your breakfast, an early morning drive is always the best way to start the day since you can be able to spot many animals. Apart from the famous wildebeest migration, the Mara reserve is home to rich flora and fauna hosting other animals such as buffalos, gazelles, impalas, waterbucks, topi, zebras and many more all of which quench their thirst in the famous Mara river, Grumeti and the Talek rivers. The afternoon can also be spent by visiting the Maasai villages getting the chance to interact with the local community.

Day 5: Drive to Serengeti through isebania border

After an early breakfast, drive towards the south to the Serengeti in Tanzania through the Isebania, Kenya / Tanzania boarder. The Serengeti and Maasai Mara form the similar ecosystem of the Mara-Serengeti ecosystem and also share the spectacle of the great wildebeest migration. The park also acts as the breeding grounds for the gnus. With picnic lunch en route, there is much to enjoy in the park before checking in the lodge or campsite for dinner and overnight. Day 6: Serengeti full day game drive.

Serengeti is a big national park and apart from the great annual migration of more than 1.5 million brindled wildebeests, some 250,000 zebras and for the abundant presence of the Nile crocodiles, it is also home to a variety of other animal and bird species. After the breakfast, proceed to a morning game drive to spot the hunting of the game. Covering an area of 14,750 Km2 of savannah and grassland, some of the animals that can be easily spotted include the lions, leopards, elephants, black rhinoceros that are mainly found in the kopjes at the Centre of the park and buffalos. The park is also home to over 500 recorded bird species and the Masai community

Day 7: Depart Serengeti for Ngorongoro crater with picnic lunch boxes.

In the morning depart to ngorongoro crater with picnic lunch boxes. The 125 square miles of coverage will keep you engaged for the day. Explore the acacia forests, the plains of the crater floor, and peculiar behaviors adapted by the animals as a result of the enclosure by the mountain. Did you know that it’s only in Ngorongoro conservancy that the hyena is the king of the jungle? Find out why on this full day of exploration

Day 8: Drive to Lake Manyara

Drive to Lake Manyara national park for full day exploration. Enjoy the ride as you feast your eyes on the Tanzanian landscape, courtesy of the Great Rift Valley. Lake Manyara covers 230 square miles of the 330 square miles that constitute the park. The good supply of water means a good supply of food, first for the herbivores and consequently for the carnivores. It also attracts a variety of aquatic animals like hippos, flamingoes, water predatory birds like the eagles, and the infamous white and grey pelicans. Find out why the grey pelicans are grounders, while the white ones prefer to nest high up on the tree, yet they are all of the same species.

The drive begins early in the morning and ends at dusk. You might decide to return to the lodge for meals or have a picnic lunch en route. Our guides are well versed with the park so don’t  hold back on the questions; let the trip be informative as much as it is enjoyable.

Day 9:  Arusha 

After breakfast, drive to Arusha for lunch and later transfer to Kilimanjaro airport for your flight home.
