Day 1: Transfer to Eka Hotel

Welcome to Kenya. – Your preferred destination for photographic safaris! Upon touchdown at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will receive a warm welcome by our driver/guide who will transport you to Eka hotel to relax and recharge during your stay in Kenya’s capital

Day 2:  David Sheldrick Giraffe Centre

After breakfast embark on Nairobi excursions, David Sheldrick, then giraffe Centre and then lunch at Tamambo restaurant. We will take you to the renowned Giraffe Centre, where you will be given a rare opportunity to get up close to these gentle giants in this natural sanctuary, which was founded by Jock Leslie-Melville, the Kenyan grandson of a Scottish earl, to protect the endangered Rothschild giraffe .A heart-warming visit to the Daphne Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage will top up your outing. Here you can witness the heroic efforts of the dedicated team who rehabilitate orphaned elephant calves and other vulnerable animals. This extraordinary place plays a pivotal role in protecting the wilderness and offers a beautiful experience, as well as the opportunity to adopt an orphaned elephant. You will get a chance Shop  for forgotten items.

Drive back to Eka hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: After breakfast drive to Amboseli national park.

Early in the morning, our tour guide shall come to the assigned pick up location in Nairobi and drive you to the park.  Amboseli national park is known for free-ranging Elephants that you can at a very close range, a phenomenon you won’t find in any other park in the world!! The park also offers a clear view of peak Kibo, of Mount Kilimanjaro; A natural magnetic force that attracts visitors to this park.

Upon arrival, you shall have a sneak peek tour of the park, rest for lunch and afterward, continue with the game drive. Watch out for the Observation hill, which offers a clear overview of the park, from the swampy areas to the wildlife and also the Lake Amboseli. Apart from the elephants, Amboseli is adorned with other wild species like the Jackals, baboons, cheetahs, buffalos, Lions, Hyenas, hippopotamus, giraffes, wildebeest, gazelles, among others

Day 4 & 5: Full day game drives in Amboseli national park.

Full day game drives in amboseli national park for the next two days. Parks can be quite extensive and are therefore time-consuming for anyone who wishes to explore one fully. This is why we will set off very early in the morning, even before breakfast, in the hope of observing the occasional scene of a predator having its breakfast. The park’s ecosystem supports a variety of wildlife species like the Elephants, cape buffaloes, cheetahs, lions, blue wildebeest, spotted hyenas, giraffes, zebras, and many others. The territory is covered with swamps, a seasonal lake, and mountainside vegetation.

Watch out for the observational hill, strategically placed to view the landscape and wildlife as a whole.

Day 6:  Drive back to Nairobi

After breakfast, drive back to Nairobi for lunch at Eka hotel. Later drive to Tamarind restaurant for dinner.  Drive back to your hotel for overnight stay.

Day 7: Masai Mara

Early in the morning after breakfast, our safari guide will transfer you to Wilson airport for your flight to the Maasai Mara. The route to Maasai Mara offers scenic views of Kenya’s colorful landscape. On arrival you will be picked up by your guide, game drive enroute to Mara bush camp. Maasai Mara remains the most visited destination in Kenya because of the wildlife and bird species that thrive in the park. Expect to see the hyenas, cheetah, jackals, zebra, lions, leopards, elephants, Cape buffalo, Rhinos, antelopes, Maasai Giraffe, impalas, duikers, and many more are noticeable within the park. The park also inhabits over 450 bird species. On a lucky day, you shall be in a position to spot as many wildlife species as possible.

Day 8, 9, 10 &11 : Full day game drives in Masai mara.

The next 4 days shall be spent viewing game, in the early morning hours and in the evenings as this is when we have the best chances of seeing wildlife. Also, this is the best place in Kenya to spot the Big Five in one drive, alongside other wild animals like the crocodiles, Oribi, East African Lions, Buffaloes, cheetah Leopards, hyenas, antelopes, Maasai giraffes, and warthogs. The ultimate action here is without doubt the annual wildebeest exodus in July and August when millions of these grass eaters move north from the Serengeti in search of lusher grass before turning south again in October. Hot air balloon safari can be arranged and a cultural visit to Maasai villages for the children to the Maasai culture and for a traditional dances.

You may also opt to do some of the activities offered by the lodge. On clear days, the Masai Mara offers fantastic orange tinted sunsets and you will definitely want to capture this moment while sipping on a sun downer back at the Mara bush camp

Day 12: Nairobi

Drive to the airstrip after breakfast to catch up your flight to Nairobi. Upon arrival you will be met by our representative, proceed to carnivore restaurant for lunch. Later transfer to the airport for your outbound flight home.
