The lodging has 45 rooms of which 12 have sea-views and the remainder pool and garden views. Eight of the rooms are inter-leading and therefore ideal for family with children and kids on a holiday.

Coconut Village Hotel close to (KWS) Marine Nasional Park in Mombasa, Kenya Rooms are situated in 2 level bungalows blocks and are fitted with wooden furnishings, luggage racks, air-conditioners with individual controls, ceiling fans, large en-suite bath-rooms, personal safes, mini bars and telephones. Eden Roc Hotel is located in Malindi town on the north Coast of Kenya. By road, Malindi is only a 2 hours drive away from Mombasa City, Malindi town can be accessed by air from Nairobi (1 and 1/2 hour Flight and 30 minutes flight from Mombasa).

The hotel is built on a coral cliff and is  managed by a German and Kenyan Team. The Eden Roc Hotel is a family owned holiday destination and for this reason every guest is known by name and not only room number.

On Saturday night, an original Kenyan style (Nyama Choma) accompanied by a wide variety of music performed by a live band is offered.

The Dhow Grill Restaurant opens from 9am – 5pm. This restaurant offers an Ala Carte menu with a wide variety of reasonably priced mouth-watering dishes ranging from seafood to the finest steaks.

Scorpio Villas has 46 rooms set-up in Villa ranging from 1 or 2 floors immersed in a luxuriant tropical garden full of Palm – tress, Bougainvillea and Baobab that contribute to offering the clients with privacy and tranquility.

All rooms come with private services, shower, canopy bed with mosquito net, ventilator and air – condition, color TV with satellite, safe deposit box and refrigerator bar. All rooms have a magnificent Balcony or a verandah, all furnishings are peculiar and reflect the African style.

A pleasant hospitable environment attending to you every day from the morning breakfast to the evening meal, the service is mainly buffet. The Italian cooking will follow you even in the land of Africa with the specialty of fish and meat as well as “ pasta prepared by hand. Plates of the kitchen “the local Swahili” and Indian are served during dinner and weekly organized occasions.

Perched on the edge of its own beach, Kipungani Explorer is one of East Africa’s most simple but sophisticated coastal hideaways. Overlooking a deserted 14-kilometre beach on the southwestern tip of Lamu Island, Kipungani Explorer is a dream destination for those seeking a true desert island holiday. After a 90 minute flight from Nairobi, you will be met at Manda Island and transported by boat to the lodge, which is located two degrees south of the Equator.

Our 14 spacious and secluded chalets sit above the soft white sands of Kipungani Bay, which is Swahili for the place of fresh air. Shaded by the palm trees that line our 600-metre beachfront, the chalets are constructed entirely from local materials, with mkeka matting floors and makuti thatch roofs woven by the residents of neighbouring Kipungani Village.

The large interiors are a picture of rustic simplicity, with giant king-size beds and furniture all handmade from local mangrove and palm woods. Each chalet has an ocean-facing verandah with local funzi sofas and chairs piled high with colourful cushions. Amenities include freshwater showers, flush toilets, and separate dressing areas with wash basins.

The beach-facing lounge and bar at Kipungani are furnished for complete relaxation, with large driftwood furniture, hanging moon beds, and a variety of natural discoveries combed from our shores. The dining room sits beside a small tropical garden, with an adjoining library offering guests a broad selection of novels, magazines and board games.

In front of the building is a horizon-touching saltwater pool which offers the perfect venue for the ultimate romantic sundowner. Kipungani Explorer enjoys a uniquely harmonious relationship with the residents of neighbouring Kipungani Village. Half of the Lodge’s staff come from the village, from where we also buy all our seafood and materials for repairing our bandas and boats. Children above 8 years are welcome.
